A little about me
My name is Janet Eriksson. I'm a Christian inspirational writer. More than that, I'm one of God's kids, just like you. I belong to Jesus.
At 45 years old, I'm blessed with a brand new life that God has given me. I serve in full-time Christian ministry, and this includes listening to God's heart and writing what He inspires. I created this website to share some of my writing with you. I also love to help and encourage other Christian writers. If you're a Christian writer, I hope you will find some inspiration and encouragement here.

I have a wonderful church family at
Dahlonega United Methodist Church,
a Spirit-filled place of worship, fellowship, missions and outreach in north Georgia.
I have a sweetheart of a cat, Crickett, who has been with me 19 1/2 years. She is charcoal-colored with pretty green eyes, and she has little white dots on two of her toes.
I'm a child at heart. I enjoy coloring books, kids' crafts and making prayer bracelets. I'm crazy about stuffies!
I love to watch the deer and the wild turkeys in my backyard. They bless me by enjoying their day right outside the window of my writing studio.
I love spending time on the water - sailing, kayaking, tubing, rafting. The north Georgia foothills, overflowing with rivers and rapids, offer amazing opportunities for all of these. Nearby is our beautiful Lake Lanier for sailing.
I enjoy distance-walking. Several years ago I had the privilege of completing the 60-mile walk for breast cancer awareness.
I'm a very grateful ovarian cancer survivor.
Oh, and no one knows why, but I'm crazy about sheep!

My heart for Christian ministry
My heart is for people who want a new life. No matter what you've been through, God's promise is to give you the desires of your heart, to restore your joy that's been lost (or that you've never had), and to bring you healing and peace. He's done it for me. He'll do the same for you. I'll stand with you in faith until you see His promises for yourself.
It's a joy to serve in transition, healing and prayer ministries through Finally Free Transition Ministry, Tree of Life Prayer Ministry, Dahlonega United Methodist Church, and in our wonderful community of Lumpkin County, Georgia. It's a joy to watch Jesus bring hope and new life to every heart that seeks Him. There is nothing He can't and won't do to bring you the incredible life He has planned just for you - the son or daughter of the Most High King!
I'm blessed to live in the beautiful community of Dahlonega, Georgia. I love conversation with friends, and I love front porch swings (although sweet tea should come with a warning label). I also enjoy traveling once a year with our mission team to Guatemala. Most of all, I love celebrating the wonderful changes God brings to your life. He loves you so much!
