Describing God
We do not have enough words in any language to describe our God. He is, indeed, beyond description. That doesn't stop us from trying, though.
I've got a sheet of paper on my desk where I've started writing a different word each day that describes God. Usually, I write the word that best describes who God is for me that day.
I'm going to share those words here, for as long as I continue this effort. Perhaps it will inspire you to think about words that describe God. It might help you in your writing.
I encourage you to start your own list. As you contemplate your own words that describe God, you will be encouraged, your faith will be strengthened, your heart will be filled with thanksgiving, and you will draw closer to Him.
